Win Your Dream Home Raffle Terms and Conditions:
This raffle ticket is offered by the St. Peter’s School Parent Teacher’s Group (GC30-103-440-05159),
a New York State not-for-profit organization in conjunction with Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School.
Ticket price is $100.00. Your payment may be made by credit card (your statement will read “St. Peter’s”,
Notre Dame”, or “DPR&R Enterprises, Inc.”), cash or check payable to St. Peter’s School or
Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School.
All entries must be received prior to 5:00 PM, May 21st, 2008. The drawing will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008
in front of the model home at G & I Homes located on State Route 5 in Frankfort, New York. Ticket holder need not be
present to win. The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries and will be notified by certified mail to
the address given on the stub within ten (10) business days of the drawing. The winner must present this ticket and
identification to claim the prize and has until 5:00 PM on the tenth (10th) business day after the postmark of the mailed
notice to do so. If the prize is not so claimed by the deadline, the next drawing ticket may be awarded the prize, subject
to presentation of that ticket and identification by 5:00 PM on the tenth (10th) business day beginning with the business
day after the postmark of the mailed notice to such party. After presenting the ticket, the winner has ten (10) business
days to either sign a Contract and Policies and Procedures with G & I Homes Inc. or choose the cash payout of $99,000.
The Parent Teacher’s Group shall have the discretion to extend this deadline, said extension to only be valid if made in
writing, if the winner can demonstrate good cause why he or she is not able to sign the Contract and Policies and
Procedures with G&I Homes within the initial ten (10) business day time period.
St. Peter’s School, Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School and the Diocese of Syracuse in providing the modular home as
a prize does not accept responsibility for injuries or damage arising out of any defects or product use arising out of the
ownership, use and/or occupancy of the modular home. The winner’s legal relationship with G&I Homes, including responsibility
for site work, foundation work, local permits, utility connections, liability issues and warranty issues, shall be governed
by the Contract and Policies and Procedures to be signed by the winner and G&I Homes, Inc. Copies of these terms, and/or copies
of the Contract and Policies and Procedures to be signed by the winner and G&I Homes, may be obtained by mailing a stamped self-addressed
return envelope along with a request for such a copy or copies to St. Peter’s School, Utica. Requests, made by mail to purchase
tickets for the Dream Home, must be received by May 15th.
The maximum number of tickets issued will be 4,000 and requests will be processed in the order in which they are received.
After the drawing, to receive the number of the winning ticket, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to St. Peter’s School,
19 Herkimer Rd, Utica, NY 13502 with your request. By entering the Dream Home Raffle, the winner agrees to have their name,
photograph and ticket number publicized.
G & I Homes will set the Dream Home Model, in accordance with the signed Contract and Policies and Procedures, on the winner’s
foundation in the following counties in NYS only: Monroe, Livingston, Ontario, Yates, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Wayne, Seneca,
Tompkins, Tioga, Cayuga, Broome, Oswego, Onondaga, Cortland, Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida, Madison, Chenango, St. Lawrence, Franklin,
Clinton, Essex, Herkimer, Otsego, Delaware, Schoharie, Montgomery, Fulton, Hamilton, Warren, Saratoga, Washington, Albany, Rensselaer,
Greene, Columbia, Ulster, Dutchess and Sullivan.
The winner of the Dream Home is responsible for all applicable taxes, specifically including income taxes.
The winner will be responsible for all local permits and site work including the foundation and utility connections on the home.
Winner is responsible for local code requirements. The winner, instead of accepting the Dream Home, has the option to apply a credit
of $99,000 towards the purchase of another home from G&I Homes. In order to take the Dream Home option, the home must be delivered
within the above listed counties. St. Peter’s Parent Teachers Group makes no representations and warranties as to the tax consequences
affecting any individual. The remaining proceeds will benefit St. Peter’s and Notre Dame Schools of Utica supporting Catholic Education.
The maximum number of tickets sold will be 4,000, the odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received.
A minimum of 1,200 tickets must be sold to award full prize amount. If less then 1,200 tickets are sold, all proceeds, less expenses,
will be awarded. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. The St. Peter’s and Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School Senior Administrators,
St. Peter’s Parent Teacher Group Executive Officers, and owners of G & I Homes and immediate families of the owners of G&I Homes
(spouses, children, parents and grandparents) are not eligible to win. Tickets cannot be transferred.
